PERFORMANCES

My performance work was done in collaboration with Liminoid Laboratory. This group was formed in 1997; I was an original member and stopped performing with the group in 2003. The core of Liminoid Laboratory between 1997 and 2003 was Hans Breder and myself. Each project during that time was also developed with collaborating members. Liminoid Laboratory brought together a variety of time-based components to create performance pieces. The materials used were digital image and sound, movement and space. When considering the design of performances I always felt it was about installation and sculpture. When the work was created there was no attempt to hide the technology and the people working with it during the performance. In addition to design, I was often the performer.
